Locations in Chile

Fall and Winter cities, rugged mountains, breathtaking coastline: May, June

Leaves are starting to turn colors on deciduous trees in central Chile, spectacular colors can be found in the city and countryside.  Evergreens abound as well.

The first snow fell recently, and we are eagerly awaiting the larger snowfalls that will start up the exciting winter snow season.

Take a look at some of the amazing locations where you could shoot your next project. Get in touch with us if you have any questions.

Cities, Suburbs, and Architecture

Santiago possesses a wide scope of fresh and unseen on film architecture, but what is also very interesting for different scripts, are newly built suburbs, with a generic North American look. They could be in Mississauga, Ontario, Phoenix, or L.A.  In comparison South American locations tend to be too recognizable due to particular building materials, palms, and design, but in Chile, the variety of new developments breaks away from that.

Forests and Natural Landscapes

Chile is blessed with around a dozen highly varied climate zones, and with very good access to a lot of those areas. While Patagonia and the far northern reaches of the desert will always mean long distances, other locations can be surprisingly accessible. Where else can you can coastline locations, fresh city angles, and real mountains all within 70 miles from one to the next?

Take advantage of the new infrastructure: modern, safe highways, that take the equipment and crew to the lake district without high costs, or air freight. Just try that with Bariloche.

The Pacific Ring of Fire, while slightly hair raising in name, means that there are snow capped volcanos all year long in the south of Chile, ready to play snowy backdrop to your scripts needs.

White water rivers, virgin stands of forest, and tree lined lakes of all sizes are what make this part of Southern Chile a perfect spot when you need a Canadian or European style lake location.
